Building/Facility Engineer


The Facilities Engineer conducts investigations, evaluations, and applied research directed toward assisting owners, operators and for safe, reliable, and efficient operation of buildings and energy use in compliance with codes, laws and regulations; utilizes engineering theories and principles and applies them in methods specific to the facility and problems encountered; prepares technical reports and recommendations for use by utility and/or facility owners and managers for guidance on solving current problems.   Facility Engineer will assists in permit preparation and compliance documentation; will acts as liaison to regulators and authorities having jurisdiction.  Additionally, Facility Engineer will assists in the review and implementation of facility design and construction, and develops standards for design and construction.
